    Roof lining sticky pad

Ive looked through previous threads but cant find the answer to my question
Im gunna be fitting my dark roof lining soon but cant find anywhere that sells a big double sided sticky pad! It looks like quite a few people have removed there roof linings, just wondered how you managed to re stick it? Did anyone manage to source a pad? You can get them from Audi but you have got to buy 10 and that makes it expensive (£90 i think) Any advice or links would be much appriciated

Hell if i do that i will have to use hundreds Mines a non sunroof model so i think the sticky pad is even bigger than a sunroof model? Would it be wise to use spay adhesive as well as sticky pads?

Were you able to remove your roof lining in one piece? If so how?

I'm simply going to use silicone sealant when I replace mine. Silicone can tolerate heat and has excellent bonding properties.

It has but based on my experience it'll droop before it's set: you'll either have to support the roof lining whilst the silicon goes off or use something with more instant grab.

Good thinking I cant believe i didn't think of it I come across it regularly at work and it does stick like s**t to a blanket. You could use some number plate sticky pads to hold it up whilst the silicone is drying!?
