RS2 recaro subframe - where to get one?

Anyone know where these can be sourced without paying an absurd amount from the dealer? Anyone per chance got one rusting away in the garage and wants a bit of space?

Anyone know of one or where to get one please let me know.

    Cheers

It's not actually for me, but the frame has snapped at the break point demostrated here:

Welding it didn't hold for long so ideally it needs to be replaced, I guess it could be reinforced and re-welded, what do ya think?

ah thats where one I worked on recently went I wasn't bothered as I was cutting it anyways. Who welded it? and to what standard if it was done properly it should have held. Was this on the car you went to view?

Weld will hold if done properly, sounds more of a dodgy weld

Cheers guys, sounds like a proper fix can be done in the right hands. Just need to decide whether to inherit the issue; having some confidencethe issues can be easily fixed is the first stage
