    Boost gauge fitting

Thought it might be an idea given the success of the latest group buy (cheers Rusty!) to have a thread where people might like to post exactly what kit they bought to fit their boost gauge...

Yes it's true, I am too lazy to work it out for myself...

When I fit mine I would like to keep as much functionality of the air vents as possible. So far I have been out to the scrappies and picked up a few centre vents to play around with.. although I am finding that the gauge looks a tiny bit too big when fitted into an original vent (most of the vent has been cut out of course).

Please feel free to post any help or advice, and links to specific bits of kit that you have used for fitting.

    Cheers.

If you do fit your boost gauge in the centre air vent you don't loose much functionality as the centre air vents are bigger than the capacity of the heater to supply. That said, I fitted my boost gauge as a replacement for the (totally useless) voltmeter in the auxilary three and rotated it round so you can see the boost sector from the driver's seat.
