looking for some bits for my urs6, will a load cover from the boot fit from the urs4? and also are the front lamps ie the indicators the same?
excuse my lack of knowledge but i'm a virgin as far as these models go
the front lights are different I believe.
The front end is slightly different. I bought SH headlights from K17ERG here for my urS4, i am pretty sure he has a spare set for a urS6 as well. The reason he has two probably explains itself!
The indicators just clip into the headlight on the urS4
I had mine in bits last night on the kitchen table so its fresh in my mind so to speak
I have a load cover for mine, can go check a part number for you.
No, they are not. Their shape is different and their method of attachment to the headlight and car are different. The front fenders (wings), bumper and hood (bonnet) and grill are also different. The headlight buckets are the same (or very close) but the headlight lenses and gaskets are different (it might be possible to install UrS4 lenses and gaskets on UrS6 buckets and vice versa). UrS4 and UrS6 fenders (wings) and indicators (possibly) could be swapped between cars. Hoods (bonnets) and headlights could be swapped as a set between cars. Bumpers can be swapped. However, 100 and A6 bumpers do not work because the UrS4/S6 fenders (wings) are flared more than the 100/A6 fenders and the 100/A6 bumper is narrower as a result.
Here is a link to some UrS4/S6 model year changes (based on US delivery cars but most differences are true (including the indicators)):

Indicator answer (not the same) answered previously. As for the avant load cover, I am running a load cover from a 93 C4 100 in my 98 C4 A6 avant, fits fine. Better yet, I scored it for $25 (about 15 GBP) at a wreckers (breakers) after searching for four years and not wanting to pay the dealer's $500 price for a new one.

Didn't you ask this in another thread? Anyway, the answer is yes - but.
The "but" is the UrS4 and UrS6 indicators are different than the UrS6 indicators so you would be best to swap both front fenders (wings), not just one, and install the appropriate indicators (S6 indicators in S6 fenders, S4 indicator in S4 fenders) in both fenders.

I performed a conversion on my S4 many years ago and detailed it as I went. I bought new S6 wings inad installed them on the S4. I had to replace the repeaters and the lights.....which leads to a S6 bonnet. It's a slippery slope, but once your finished you can pop in a nice S6+ blacked out grill. Have a look.

Tom: I don't think you *had* to replace the (head)lights. The S4 and S6 headlights are basically the same except for the lense shape (and rubber trim). The buckets and the location of the outer edge, by the indicators (repeaters), are the same.
Your link didn't work for me.

Negative Dave. The S6 lenses are smaller. If you want it to look correct the lights must be changed......or at least the lenses. Note: this is the S4 wing/repeater with the S6 headlamp.
Tom: I think only you with your incredible eye for detail would actually notice the difference.
That said, I *think* (?) we can agree that UrS4 headlights do not work with an UrS6(A6) hood (bonnet) because of the different grill shape and the way it overlaps the UrS6 headlight lenses. As a result, the UrS6 lenses are actually contoured in 3D to accomodate the UrS6(A6) hood (bonnet), as shown here:
Confirmation that the UrS4/S6 headlight lenses will fit on either the UrS4 or UrS6 bucket is implied by the fact that the gasket that seals the lense to the bucket is the same for all C4 headlights, as shown here:
