Re- Trim Front door card (coupe)

This is mainly aimed at Rusty and anyone else in the vicinity of Bristol UK.
Can anyone recommend a reasonable coach trimmer in Bristol or near.
My leather trim originally came from a left hand drive coupe, now I am trying to get the passenger door panel recovered where the holes are that the wiring harness comes through.
Just been quoted £80+ to recover said panel and that's with me removing the leather/vinyl bit first
Just seems a bit steep to me !
    Any input greatly appreciated, Chris
For what this cost me so far I could have bought an S2

Just removed ALL the clips/washers from the rear of the door card and it doesn't look like the leather/vinyl will actually separate from the rest of the door card.
Has anyone any experience with this ?
Failing that has anyone got a passenger door card in black with the black leather/vinyl trim ? (think this may need to be moved to the wanted section) ! RHD only please.

£80 sounds about right to me for a nice job TBH.
Speak to Acidburn, he had some done a while back around the Swindon area IIRC

        Hi,

        Give these guys a call - http://www.krychtrimming.co.uk/main.html

They are just down the road from me and have been about for years, which in the current climate must suggest they are pretty good. I've been in to see them a few times and their pricing was reasonable. They definately know their way around a coupe seat

I used a retrimming place in calne - don't touch them with a bargepole, i'll find the name out shortly as it was a while ago. Really un-impressed with the work and I actually gave the interior away in the end.

If you want a decent front/rear door cards in black leather speak to tonk's he has some for sale on ebay atm

This is what I am trying to fix

And these are what I am having problems with, the bl***y things seem to be plastic welded or something

Krych were the ones that quoted me £80+, but he wont touch it unless I remove the trim first (do it myself if I could remove it)

the trims only glued on at the front, start at one end and it comes off in one piece, there is no clips as i've removed a few trims off of s2/coupe door cards, nothing from the trim goes thru the doorcard.

tonks link - brilliant bloke to deal with one of the best you will find

Thanks Pete, just had a look and mine are different ie mine are one continues piece with no seam at the top ! Which means I would have to use both pass and drivers side
Works out pretty expensive this way !

Thanks Gripper, and to Steve for the link. That saved me asking. A Recaro dealer too, and in my nearest proper city. Nice.
