£100 for a guage could be interesting, £200 too steep for me. S2 has a boss at the top of the downpipe that a thermocouple could be fitted too.

It's for the whole kit, including the thermocouple so £200 isn't a bad price for the whole lot.

You can program the output here. It also has 0-5V linear EGT output. You can stick a voltage divider on that if you need lower.

But then you already have a digital EGT and AFR gauge - and the display can be placed anywhere in the car...

VDO do an EGT gauge for the US market in Fahrenheit, but do they do one in Centigrade?
Also, would the VEMS sensor work with that gauge?

what would be the advantage of the gauges mentioned above? egt and afr i know what they measure but are they just another gauge to keep an eye on the car running ok?

Update on this, I've just had the artwork back for the gauge face and have requested a couple of changes, so will post up the new design when I get them. Just trying to match it to the boost gauge nicely

                  Sounds good, Andy.
I think it's worth spending a few extra £ to have the gauges matching. I think I have one gauge position out of 6 left to fill.

The only issue I can see with an analogue EGT gauge is you may not catch sudden temperature spikes. But it will be good for everyday use, and certainly better than no gauge at all.

It's a real shame there's not a lambda gauge to match

                                Nice

I sent mle a face and he sourced the gauge. If anyone else wants to do the same then please get in touch, as I don't have the time to make a batch at the moment...
