Aircon specialists? Audi V8

I brought an Audi V8 last weekend http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=51365
Unfortunately is has the fugly GM aircon panel where the later type use a proper Audi one. Does anyone has experience or info about swapping the GM unit for an Audi one?
If the dash has to come out that's okay, want to change the wood for the darker version anyway.

it is climate control already but I want the Audi display like in the newer V8 models. This one is from some car from the GM company and looks awfull, Audi didn't have an own climate control unit by then.

its the climate control airbox thats the akward bit, if you already have this then just a case of changing the control unit, wiring, and if your unluckly the motors that control the flaps. cant see then changing the airbox just to suit audi motors

I have a climate control unit from the 98 S8 i was breaking, is that any use to you? its duel zone.

I'm afraid not, too complex I guess.

could do with a lambda probe though

you have to change whole instalation, and box with blower and display

too much woork, i have the same and have think same but gave up
