    Christophski -

UK made top quality products for your car, dog and home. A range of luxury dog beds, custom car seat covers and boot liners plus bespoke services.

I went up there in June, the week I got the RS2 - I needed absolute coverage before my dog even set foot in the back. They had to measure the car from the beginning as they did not have the drawings for the Audi 80.
I got them to do some bespoke extras to the cover - as they were starting from the beginning I was able to throw loads of ideas at them, most of which they had never done :

The rear seat is one piece, covering both headrests and extending down the front too, to prevent dog slobber etc getting on the leather of the back seats when his head rests forward of the seats.
The sides of the rear extend up and onto the rear shelf area (left and right - you know where the vent is - vent is clear of course)
What you can't see in any of the pictures is the carpet on the tailgate AND a mesh which is fitted around the rear window to stop dog noses getting on the glass. My mesh idea they had NEVER done before so when the design arrive it was a real first trial of an idea - it worked. They also took the dimensions of the rear side glasses in anticipation of the tailgate working and me getting those windows too.

Under the floor cover there are also 2 custom quilted boot mats - this enables the entire cover to be fitted and remain pretty neat and tidy with a bunch of dog blankets in the back - the floor is very soft.

    Costs -

Boot liner (Boot floor and up the sides - 3 pieces) : £285
    Bumper flap : £20
Back seat cover, front and back including headrests : £55
    Tailgate cover : £45
    Rear window mesh : £25
    Quilted boot mat : (x2) £35ea

If you are interested let me know because I'd return to them for a re-measure of the side and rear glass mesh - know I've seen how it fits I have some more ideas for them, to make it better - what I have fitted now + ideas would make it the very best Avant boot liner possible.

    I hope this helps.

Wow that is expensive! I would love to have that in the boot but I cant afford that so it looks like the liner I have in mine will have to carry on doing the job. Cost about £40 and goes right up the sides and back of the seat. It also has a flap that goes down overr the bumper to protect it and then zips back up when the dog is in the boot so he doesnt get on the tail gate carpet. Its also waterproof which is good as he will find water anywhere and lay in it. Lol!

Would love to have the same linerr as Carl though. It looks very nice.

Out of interest Carl, how do the side flaps stay up in yours? Is there velcro stuck on to the sides of the cover and the side of your boot or is there something else?

That looks an awesome job, I guess you get what you pay for and your RS2 def needs a pucka job. I saw the mention of these guys on another forum as an alternative to:

Hatchbag produce tailor made car boot liners and mats to suit your lifestyle. Made in the UK, our bespoke boot protectors cover the base and sides of your car boot.

Looks like won't be getting an S2 avant anyway, been looking at B6 A4 Avant quattro sports, seem good value for money and actually prefer the shape to the later, more expensive B7s (and def the earlier B5's).

Thats a shame to hear Darren but atleast its something you want. Friends had one one of them and it was a good car. Bigger boot than the S2 too.

Its not so much me, its the Mrs, the usual "its too old" excuse..

Would really like the 220ps 3.0 Sport quattro but seem quite rare and a bit more expensive. The 1.8T are 190ps but will obviously map to more , stick a KO4 on it with map and it'll be quite rapid (but still sound crap)

I've been enquirying about this one for the right price,
                http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2509313781...84.m1423.l2649

After a bit more digging though, turns out its 100% standard and never been driven hard (Hmm, explain the K&N sticker on engine cover and Ring sticker on the boot) and he only bought it from a garage only 3 weeks ago, I asked what garage and he replied "BCA"!!! Asked for more pics and he replied, pics dont do it justice, its a great car, you really need to come and see it, its the best out their mate, you wont leave without it.

Hmmm, I think i'll leave it,, shame, looks nice but something def not right..

Thats a shame. Does look nice. My brother was looking for a diesel one a few months ago and then stopped for some reason.

Well im sure what ever you get will be fun in the end once you have managed to do some dog friendly tweaks Haha

It's tricky to photo the full extent of it's fit and design because it gets all shaded inside the rear, I guess i should have photo'd it back in the summer when the light was good from all angles.

Correct - the whole system is velcro in place - the supply many metres of (female) velcro .... the stuff is really sticky and will stick to the carpet on the sides, back, everywhere - there are also strips along the rear/side trims by the windows.

Yes, it was expensive and I had to strike very fast when I got the car to get it past the war department ..... luckily I got it past her radar - it's a lifelong fitment and I'll have the RS2 for life, so seemed a good buy.

Remember guys - what I paid was for a full-on custom build - they now have the sizes so I guess it would be off the shelf .... nonetheless, still pretty spendy.
