    urS6 boot - spare wheel well photo request

    Looking for a photo to show what goes on the lhs side narrow "shelf" of the wheel well where the spare wheel is stored on a urS6 saloon ?

    There's a captive nut on this shelf, keen to know what it is used for ?

      David, the jack mounts there. There is a bolt with a black plastic knob on top goes through the jack to secure it.

          Figured as much, the jack that was in the car works on the car, had a puncture recently, but doesn't fit on this ledge.

          If anyone had a photo of the correct original jack in its place, that would be ideal to illustrate what I'm missing / need.

              If no one has gotten you a pic by tomorrow I'll snap one for you, David.

              The tool kit attaches to the jack via one of those big black rubber bands that VW and Audi are notorious for using.
