    Sound absorber?

    Who thinks that replacing the OEM type of sound deading under the carpet would be as good as this stuff above, and also be lighter?

    Don't know anything about that stuff mate, but I have used Second Skin Damplifier. Its better that OEM stuff and about alf the weight

          so you have removed the OEM stuff all together and replaced with this stuff? did you actually weigh anything ?

          and soundwise, road and engine, it is better than before?

            yeah i removed all of the bitumen based OEM stuff when i was stich welding my chassis. Can't remember off hand how much it weighed but it was about 15kg IIRC. The stuff I replaced it with was about 8kg
