How annoying.. my rear view mirror just dropped off ..so I can't see those boy racers eating my exhaust fumes !!!
Can anyone advise... do I need some special glue? any recommendations? Or just superglue??
Phil
you need a small kit. it usually comes with a bit of gauze to key the glue. straight glue isnt always succesful.
most car parts stores should have a kit.
I went to car glass experts ant they glued it for me. Charged 6eur, it's the same as the glue kit, but I have heared that not always those kits are good, and it came out cheaper to go to glass experts

+1 my mirror is held on with this stuff, key is to hold it in place for around 5-6mins, firmly without moving it. it comes with glue and a square 'activating' mesh.
Yeah , use the gauze/glue, If you can hold it in place for as long as your arms will stand it, then all the better, I tried unsuccesfully twice before it finally stuck...was told that if you can gaffer tape it in place while the glue hardens it would be better , didnt try that . 5-6 mins wasn;t enough I recall , don;t oversoak the gauze either, good luck !
