    RS2 glassroof conversion

I heard about the glassroof option on later years S2 and how the mechanism is a bit different between the steelroof and glassroof because of the sliding shade. Say I can live without the shade, can I just replace the steel roof with the glassroof ? If so, is the glass roof even available ?

i have changed my sunroof from metal to glass, straight swap, i used my original mechanism tho as the wiring was different but the mechanism fitted the glass roof and works perfectly

                  Read post 2

Having had a glass sunroof I prefer the metal.

I would like to retro fit the pre select though

I did that yesterday after having the motor & panel I got off Pete about a year ago!
I made up a new loom for it with the right connectors its only 3 wires, virtually plug & play
