I am in the proces of building a rollcage for my cq.The design is main rollbar(hoop) and 2 lateral semi rollbars.All fits fine except lateral rollbar near the a pliar at windscreen.If i go straight from top of the windscreen to the bottom of the windscren because the pliar is not straight(it is curved) the rollbar contacts the pliar on upper part and bottom and in the middle it is far from contact.This looked from the front of the car is not as "j" apendix of FIA says,no more than 7cm from exterior of the pliar to the side of the rollbar.It can be bend but i do not know if is FIA aprooved.They say that rollbar with its lower vertical section has to have just one bend.How to understand that?
This rollcage will not be homologated so it has to be made just as "j"apendix of FIA says.
