Hmmm...what do you think the 4A0862257A is from? IR or RF controlled?

4A0862257A was dropped on 31/05/1997 in favour of an 4A0862257E. Both are called "pump with control unit".

Searching on 4A0862257C "pump with control unit" results in "Dropped, please use as replacement 4A0862257A". LOL. Full circle. At least they should be compatible.

For giggles, I decided to check 4A0862257E, it says, "Dropped on 31/05/1995, please use as replacement 4A0862257H".

4A0862257H seems to be all over the B3, B4 and C4 map. So kind of universal now.

I thought there was a difference between IR and RF central locking controllers.

The S4 I'm breaking has a "C" installed. A friend has a C4 100 with an "A" installed that doesn't work perfectly.

I didn't want to send my "C" unless there was a good chance it would work.
