what engine is in the car and B4 or B3?

clicks from a car with different cylinders will read the rev counter wrong

      ( Assuming all B4 cars ).

Pretty sure the rear Avant seats are different to Saloon rear seats. If the question is prompted by access to leather rear seats from an Avant, you may be better considering recovering the Saloon original seats with leather.

Others will be able to confirm if my thoughts are correct.

      Kind regards.

Avant seat bases pull up and flip forward, b4 sedan are bolted down, both backs flip forward. I dont know if the backs are the same or not though?

Some B4 80 saloons had fixed back seats. Rare afaik, one I saw pictures of was a 1.6 or 1.8 petrol iirc

I think this was talked about here before, the avant seat back is shorter in height than the saloon, so this means theres a gap left between where the top of the seat back finishes and the parcel shelf begins. Is that correct can anyone confirm?

I tried to fit avant rear seat into sedan about year ago. I managed to fit the base, but the back was totally different.
