WTB - urS6 oem boot CD player, with cable from Delta radio to CD Player

As above. Want to buy a good working condition CD player that would heve been fitted in the boot of a urS6 by the factor

Also looking for the connecting cable that runs from the rear of the Delta head unit in the dash back to the CD player in the boot.

    Any help or comments appreciated.

    Thanks.

Not sure about the UK and Europe but the UrS6s on my side of the pond came pre-wired for the CD changer since they were always dealer-installed. The cables are in the left hand storage cubby in the rear of the avant, tucked up on the wheel well. Not sure about where the UrS6 sedan (saloon) cables are but my UrS4 had its pre-wired CD changer cables up on the right side rear wheel well, behind the right side trunk (boot) trim. In both cases, the cable end was in a foam wrapper.

The UrS6 factory CD changer for the Audi Bose Delta was a purpose built Alpine 6 disc changer, not replaceable by a normal Alpine changer. However, the Audi versio was also used in the early (the 1995-1998 ish) A4s until they switched to Pioneer (or was it Panasonic??)

I got a changer for my 98 C4 A6 avant with the Audi Bose Delta head unit from somebody with a 1998 A4. Cables were there, in the rear of the avant, as described.

Actually for the UrS6 sedan (saloon), I do NOT know the answer.

However, I have called out to my colleagues on my home forum for an answer.

            Update to follow.

Passenger side would be the place i'd check.

The a4's i've seen in this country have an alpine changer, I actually saw one earlier in a a4 1.8tq

Update: My UrS6 colleagues on quattroworld say that the six disc changers were mounted on the right side of the sedan (saloon) trunk (boot), between the wheel well and the taillight (just like the UrS4 sedans). Therefore, if the cabling is there, it should be behind the trunk (boot) liner, above the metal wheel well, wrapped in grey closed cell foam.
