Make sure you have a good seat belt harness for your torso that in turn keeps your head securely away from any bars between the top of the A and B pillars.

A cage for an Avant will be similar to that of a Coupe as the cage will not protect any further back than the rear suspension top mounts (unless you really need it for some strange reason!) The cage is there to protect the driver and passenger (usually one passenger and usually a navigator in rallying or a screaming passenger on a track day!).
I have all of the Custom Cages photos and my facebook has photos all of the one fitted to my which was professionally installed.
        See this link http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...8710916&type=3
PM me if you need any more details. Happy to help or advise.

That's info I needed really weren't sure if coupe cage would be different and not fit ie different inside shape body, lower/higher roof, different rear mouting point for cage as I've never been in coupe..
Also I've emailed custom cages few times and never had reply to confirm ill have to ring

I really would advise wearing a helmet when using your car with a cage

                    Agree with this.

That one time you don't bother will be the one time you need it.
