Can you swap seat bases on URS6??

Since passengers seats are always much less worn, i want to fit a passengers seat to the drivers side of my URS6, but realise that the seatbelt buckles and levers are on the wrong sides, but i think these are attached to the base(?)

Has anyone swapped the bases of these seats? Is it possible?

I do realise that the backrest adjuster will be on the wrong side but that won't bother me!

Can you not dismantle the actual seat and put the leather and foam on the drivers seat frame?

I have done this by swapping cloth and foam from passenger seat to drivers seat frame. Also part of cloth where adjuster is, was replaced with part from drivers seat cloth so there's either no hole or hole for armrest.
Maybe you can use whole base from drivers seat, replace cloth/foam and use backrest from passengers seat. I have few seats and frames lying around but i'm not at home now.

The backs are a stright swap, you just end up with the adjuster on the wrong side, this is what I did on mine, it much quicker and easier that swapping the covers

Is swapping the cloth and foam on the bases a big job?

Its the sides on the bottom half i'm more bothered about as mines just starting to go flat.

Sides both are separate pieces and the same on both seats. Swapping them is not hard but takes some time.

                  1. remove the plastic covers on the side (3x push thru pegs)
                  2. undo the screws and the clips to remove the top from the base
                  3. should be some wire twists at the back
                  4. at the back is a plastic strip on the material side, this just pulls out
                  5. there is a lot of metal tags that just pull back so the material can jump over
                  6. the foam and material should just pop over now

                  think thats everything
