What movement is electric on recaros

I know two of the movments are electric on the recaro seats.

I know forwards - backwards is manual.
I think one is height?
Is the other backrest angle?

Just trying to work out if i could possibly fit and drive before sorting the electric adjust.

Backrest angle and I thought back and forward.

Been ages since in mikes car. But I remember they went back and forward and the back adjustment.

If you need to just quickly adjust the angle before proper install with the loom James, just run a +12v and earth to the seat connector, from the fag lighter etc

Correct.
And again, yes it's more an angle adjusting rather the height on the seat base

I believe the forward and backward it's manual also on the RS4 B5 seats.

yeah you need totally different seat base mounts for electric forward and backward adjust, like some of the US coupes got

Thanks guys, as i thought. Yeah generally audi seats with electric back and forth have two built in runners and bolted to the floor.
Tbh u think the seats are in a reasonable position so i should be ok of i can move it back and forwards. If not then a temp 12v supply should do the trick.

I have pulled the plug off my fag lighter and it lives tucked behind that little spring clip trim in the handbrake well in the centre console. So any time I need a temporary 12v I can just pop that trim off and plug 6mm spade connectors in to get a permanent 12v feed

What about the height of these seats in the S2? I find the front of the seat base is too high and can't be adjusted. The rear is also high on it's lowest setting with great height adjustment for a midget but not much use for anyone else!

If you can't fit into your s2 because of height issues then you should really consider an a different Audi.

I'm almost purpose built for the s2 as I am short (optimum height) and have quite a fat *** which wedges in the standard s2 seat really well but I still have an emotional need for rs2 recaros.

For me recaros are an itch that has to be scratched. The base of thd s2 seat is perfect for me but ive always thought that the backeest is rubbish, IMHO it needs to be taller and have bigger bolsters (like recaros....)
