RS2 - Steering wheel

hiya, on the list of parts to price out is a RS2 steering wheel

the car I have is supposed to be a bit special so doesn't have a rs2 wheel and I thought I'd see how hard it would be to source one and keep on hand if needed.

Anyone know where I could get one from? second hand is fine (depending on condition)

hiya, I'm in wellington (so bottom of North)

the rumours with this car is that it's some type of porsche prototype that somehow ended up in NZ. not sure how true it all is, but people have come to this conclusion over the years and due to some of the below (Nik is trying to find out more as I've flicked him info I have)

- 1994
- guards red (Porsche red , not an audi red)
- numbers punched on the car aren't normal RS2 and it doesn't have option codes punched
- non standard steering wheel

There are probably more things that are slightly different but I'd probably need to line it up side by side to another RS2

In old postings for this car, I believe they tracked it to be registered to Porsche for the first 20 odd thousand k's , then it ended up in NZ through Audi.

I'm hoping to find out more but Nik is doing all the leg work so I'm thankful for that!

Every other NZ RS2 has the later 3 spoke wheel. It has an RS2 badge in the bottom spoke as well as black Audi rings in the middle of the airbag.
