    Urs4 strange computer readings

S I replaced the clocks due to non working and peeling speedo
New speedo etc reads fine but computer says no!
Average speed has read at above 80mph when i was being good and staying under 60
Boost is saying 0.5 at Rickover, going up to 1.8 under WOT
Mpg reads 9.9 ish when tootling at 40, open it up and mpg goes upto 18 or more!
    Driving me nuts!
Fuel consumption was 18 driven hard,22 ish normal driving
    Any thoughts please?

I seem to remember that there are some tiny switches on the back of the clocks so they can be used on different cars, make sure these are all set the same as your old clocks.

Agree (with the potential issue/solution). Bluequattro, have a read on this (for the general idea):

Does the s4 have the same calibration system as s2?
I've just read s2 central guide on setting fuel gauge

Did you look at the link I provided and scroll to its bottom, re: calibration?

By the numbers you get, it sounds like you have metric settings in the computer..

            50mph=80kph
Boost is 1,8 Bar (1atmospheric plus boost)
            9.9 L/100km fuel consumption

Don't know if there is a fix though..

You need to change the coding plug. IS more like a PCB .

AND check the switches . You have one or two switches for petrol/diesel and Europe / Uk/ USA .

For Euro units (kph, L/100km, boost in BAR, etc), you need this 443919100D coding plug (photo below).
