    Sunroof Switch

Regarding C4 A6 electric sunroofs, both the C4s I have had have had this issue so thinking it might be a common problem?

To shut the sunroof so it is flat with the roof, the switch (Dial type thingy me bob) has to be slight off from the '0' position.

If it is set to the '0' position the sunroof is not flat with the roof.

Is this a common problem and is there a fix?

Tried to search for this problem and didn't find anything so apologies it is has come up before,

    Cheers

you can try reindexing the switch to the motor positon:
Keeping it plugged in to the switch & harnesses, remove the motor from the sunroof mechanism, then switch on the ignition and set the switch to "zero". The motor will turn a bit. Then reinstall the motor. The rotary switch should then stop the motor in the correct position. HTH

It's directly above the sunroof switch panel.
