    Vr6 Recarro's

As per title would Vr6 Recarro's fit the coupe if so is it an easy fit or is there some modding involved.

They fit in a avant so shouldn't be far off in a coupe. If you can get the coupe Recaro sub frames ( NLA from Recaro ) you can get most things to fit. I have Recaros out of an Evo 8 in mine

I have fitted mk3 golf seats in the front of my coupe when i was temporarily between interiors. They straight on to all the mounts mk3 and B4 are the same, no additional subframes required. They do sit a little higher, ok if youre 5'9" or less but im sure this could easily be modified though so that they go a little lower.
I was going to do the same, and buy MK3 golf VR6 or (worth noting) Colour Concept GTI front seats for my coupe which are available in dodgy coloured centres but also in black. I have now got RS2 recaros and im really happy with those!

VR6 recaros do normally sell for strong money so I think you could turn them into enough cash to buy some OEM Audi Recaros if you wanted to

Ml3 golf seats all fit. I had the colour concept recaros in mine I only paid £150 for them, well worth the money in my eye. Only adjustment you have to do it the outside leg is longer on the subframe so you have to bend it or cut and weld it for the seat to sit level. Easy to do.

Thats funny, i never really noticed if the mk3 seat was wonky in my coupe. Good to know though, quite a simple mod, especially if ur trying to optimise headroom anyway, could change that at the same time....

Do you have a picture of the modification that has to be made?

I don't have any pictures of the modification sorry.

M.J.Interiors is a very good place for retrims, very we'll known in the V-dub scene. I've had work done by him and many of my friends have too and nobody has every said anything bad about his work every. The guy is a legend!

Retrimmed mine in quattro script cloth from Audi tradition as I got my seats from a GTI with the horrible turquoise/purple pattern that VW thought looked rather sporting in the 90s

Don't know about everyone else but mine sat slightly pointing towards the middle and slightly higer on the left-hand side until we whacked it with a hammer That outside leg just needed to come down a few inches
