Steering wheel options/advice

Just had a look, I'll give it a proper go when I've got my socket set
I'll have probably bought a new wheel before the week is out - original plan was to swap the Avus IIs currently on the car for some original Avuses until I've sold my Ibiza. Now add a new stereo and new steering wheel to that list

Ahaaaa thanks for that, does the centre cap just come off with a poke with a flathead?Leave a comment:

I've got another Nardi, just getting it trimmed differently
Jack you don't need to do any of that. Take the centre cap off the wheel and undo the 24mm nut on the steering column, unplug the horn connector and pull the wheel off. I recommend making sure the wheels are pointing dead ahead so you can put it back on straight first time

Had a quick look last night at what I need to undo in order to get the wheel off. I saw two screws in the cowling/cover from underneath plus an oval slot in the middle and underneath, through which I could see a hex-head screw when looking at an angle.
Do you only need to remove that cover to get the wheel off or does that awkwardly placed hex screw need to come out too?
I'm not going to be fiddling about with it until I pick up some actual tools next week, but knowing my luck I'll have a nosy about in there and end up having the steering column fall out and need five pairs of hands to put it back together

I love those Nardi wheels
Always wondered what was needed to fit one to an S2

Mmmm I'll admit they are tempting...... maybe that makes it a shortlist of three
