    S6 C4 centre armrest

    Hi

I want one of these for my car, is the RHD the same as the LHD?!

I understand that a LHD will fit on the passenger seat of a RHD car, but were the original RHD ones different (or did they fit on the drivers seat).

IE did they redesign for RHD or just fit in same way as LHD?

Hi mate, I have a LHD armrest in my C4 and it works a treat! I didn't know there were any rhd versions, must be very rare...

That is good to know, never seen a 'RHD' one so will be happy to get the LHD one as it will work just as well,

Miss having one on the car, not many of this era Audi seem to have them...

      Cheers

I agree mate, almost all my previous cars had drivers armrest and I really missed not having one, so I went on German eBay and found one which cost about £65 delivered and it took me all of 5 mins to fit! So pleased with it, well worth doing.

I did a good of research on this about two years ago & from memory (baby night feed memory mind you) etka showed that it was indeed LHD only.
I sourced one for the tdi from an S6 being broken in the US. Black goes ok with the cream leather. Couldn't find a cream one.

Don't cry when you have to cut a tiny hole in the side of the passenger backrest to bolt it on!?!

And remind your passengers that you like it in a specific position & not to mess with the seat settings!

Lovely addition. Mine even came with all the phone kit malarkey.

Can anybody confirm that the drivers and passenger seat backs both have the mounting boss in them?

I've swapped the backs over in my car, but I want to fit a LHD arm rest. Feeling through the leather I think the same boss is in both seats, but I don't want to cut the leather to find I'm wrong!

                Picture of the grey one?

I've already bought one of Ebay.de with no cover ( it was cheap ) that I was going to re-cover with some spare leather I have, but it may be easier to buy youes if the price is right?

I got a beige armrest one for my RHD.definitely, this was taken off the LHD car.I have seen an RHD car fitted with the LHD version.
only problem is you need to be proper alignment the armrest before installing since the Armrest will be attached on the passenger seat.

Sorry went to get pictures and the armrest was gone (normally i'm the only person who takes anything out of the older audis...)

I did however grab the grey center console cup holders for the c4:

The pictured Cupholders are from interated mobile phone varsion console, normal ones had place for 3 cups. Last time i checked they were NLA so they might pop up in Audi Tradition at some point, but i doubt it would happen any time soon. AFAIK they were only offered in America, so this makes them quite rare in this side of the Atlantic.
