Question about RS2 Alcatara seat insert colours

I was *sure* that I had asked this question before but after several searches, I can not find the post or thread, so it here is again:

Audi lists three colour codes for RS2 alcantara inserts:

N3T with 01, 03 and 05. I know N3T with 05 is black leather with silver alcantara. That leaves 01 or 03 to be the RS blue insert (which one?). Either way, it leaves one more colour. Was it red or blacK or ???

I have never seen either red or black alcantara myself or online on photos except if being aftermarket. That's interesting to know if another color existed.

I found this on a quick search and from memory I recall a LHD RS2 that I saw in a pic many moons ago with Red seats. I was in my teens and used to love the RS2 after hearing it was quicker off the line than the F1 cars of that generation. It was fairly grim. Think BMW M Coupe interiors but worse x 10 ha ha. Could have been a custom job but it would have been a very newish car back then so I would think unlikely but there is nowt queer as folk.

That list sounds/looks familiar. Except it has the same problem that I found before. I have seen a N3T 05 RS2 and the alcantara is grey not blue.

My RS2 which is all original in Nogaro blue exterior and black leather/blue ALCANTARA interior, has the code N3T/ 03.

Thanks RS2Driver and IrishS2. The N3T/05 = black/grey confirms what I thought I knew and the N3T/03 = black/blue refutes the previous list. Good data.

Now we just need somebody with N3T/01 to come forward with a photo of their interior.

Looks real enough. However, my good friend Kate, the friendly parts girl, says that 8A0419091G came in two colour combos:

CXE = blue/black
CXF = grey/black

No mention of red/black

I recently found this (below). It further confirms that "03" is black with blue alcantara and "05" is black with silver(grey) alcantara. Sadly, no beige.
