S2 coupe lock fitting advice

Hi I'm having trouble fitting my locks as I forgot to take photos of removaltry typing it on search but can't find nothing has anyone got any pictures or advice on how I put this metal clip back on it looks like it stops the lock from been push in the door when using the key kind of a spring spanner

It should slide in from one side, it creates pressure that makes it sit flush

On the drivers side it goes in from the right, no pics tho, sorry

Hi thanks Lee for that just fitted the driver side and it was taking longer than I thought
as it kept pushing the outer door handle piece out but all sorted

Man, I spent ages on the inner foibles of the door skin, pump, lock and handle... Solid cars, diddly annoying things tho
