Bowden cable replacement?

Door trigger Bowden cable has snapped on my drivers door, is it possible to replace without removing the door card? I.e remove latch and feed cable through behind door card?

Reason I ask is the drivers door grab handle on my car is pretty shoddy so I really want to avoid tampering with it to remove door card if possible.

I recon you will need to remove the doorcard. The cable clips to the door frame from memory to stop rubbing on the window.

Ah what a pain, had to be that door, the only one that's a massive pain to remove the door card on! Grrrr
