I have spent lots of time and money sorting the interior out but I have not got to the bottom of the ongoing issue of leaks comming in through the door cards. I retrimed the head lining which has made a huge difference to the overall look of the car. It's not an easy job but well worth doing although very messy, and all the trim pieces are now clean and have glued back together after snapping the odd bit here and there. I would recommend Q bond glue, it's excellent on plastic trims. The sunroof does not leak anymore and I fitted a new sunroof seal. I have also removed the old carpet, replaced all sound insulation and fitted fresh carpet. I now need to obtain the door card rubber seals. I noticed a group buy from audi tradition, can anyone tell me the part numbers for these items? I'm sure I will sort the ongoing leaks out by renewing the rubbers and a bit of door adjustment as both sides have dropped. I also need the part number of the diff lock gaiter as mine leaks a bit of oil. I have bought a large waterproof car cover from halfords to prevent more water getting in and ruining all my hard work so far, I can't drive around with a cover over it every time it rains and its not easy to see through the windscreen either. Hope someone can help with the part numbers, thanks.

Sorry bud but you brought a mobile gold fish bowl aka an S2 coupe lol. Loads of threads on here to look at with various suggestions but it could be a badly fitted windscreen, blocked sun roof drain channels, and also poor fitting seal round doors and door windows or any of the bulk head and bonnet pull grommets. Good luck I think really... -
These are the part numbers for the four small rubber seals found on the door cards, their available from Audi Tradition and can be ordered online. You've just missed out on the small GB I organised unfortunately, I'd grab them ASAP as they go in and out of stock and their all there ATM.

Do you know if your car has had a replacement windscreen? If it has then it's very likely that the trims have been poorly fitted and are causing your aquatic problem.1990 B3 2.0 80 quattro.

I have managed to cure all leaks apart from the doors. I spent some time inside the car whilst raining and sniffed out most leaks, but definatly water getting in towards the front of the doors. When I get round to pulling out the door cards I would like to have the corner rubber pieces ready to fit , but need to obtain them firstComment

Cheers for the part numbers. The windscreen is the original. I will check for leaks on and around there, any things possible with these old cars.Comment
