a question about rare stuff on s2

Hi guys I hope someone can answer a question for me,

    I bought a 1990/91 Quattro 3B for £550 roughly 6 weeks ago,

    My Q is this

    are these items rare...

    1) rear opening windows.
    2) under bonnet light
    3) original cd multi changer
    4) ski bag(which I found today that will come in handy for the fishing rods!)
    5) vanity lights on sun visors

    Any feedback will be brilliant.

    Thanks guys

      thanks champ!!

sweet as I have all items stated,

I was very lucky to get this motor it came out of the blue and just sort of literally landed in my lap, he wanted 1300 for it so I saved up 400 as a deposit and he said it was going in the auction in three days, so he called me three days later and asked if I was still interested...."yes" was my reply....

I asked how much he was looking to get in the auction and he was told roughly £400 - £700...

I offered him £550 not expecting him to take it but he did

So now I own an S2 3B,it is a little tatty in places but its all cosmetic, I have mountains of work receipts and invoices.

check out my pics....I think I had the bargin of the century don't you

Defo bargain of the century well done mate if its just cosmetic then it should be easy to restore back to its glory again! Keep it stock it will be worth more in the long run! Some people will disagree just my preference

I will be keeping it for sure and I will spend some money on it. its just had a major service which cost just over 200 but it hadn't been serviced since 2006 and 31000 miles ago, it does feel a little unsteady when on full lock in reverse but that maybe just down to suspension bushes/track rod ends/drop links?

Its used every day starts first time every time with no throttle hot or cold and I love the heated mirrors!!...how handy are those

some idiot smashed my indicator and cracked my bumper the day after I got it but the fuc*er drove off and didn't leave details,(may have been for the best as I would have had to get all Medievil on him/her)

What amazing machines they are I just love the fact it puts a devilish grin on my face when you hear the beast sucking up the road hahaha

There were a lot of options on the S2:

                Remote locking
                Rear vent windows
                Solar Roof
                Glass sunroof
                Pre-select sunroof control
                Grab handle lights
                Walnut trim
AirCon (LHD got climate control too)
                Cruise control
                Nappa leather
                Heated seats
                Electric recaros

                + many more small ones.

I could be wrong, but I think these items were "standard" in 1991. At least I have these, but my Blaupunkt multi-chnger has expired. Do you have the dash unit with a plastic "credit card" to activate the sound system.

10 Disk "Audi" (Blaupunkt/Sony) CD changer info

The 10-disc Blaupunkt CD changer option really includes two parts. First is the CD Changer itself and the second is an adapter box to interface the CD Changer to the Audi-Bose system. The CD Changer was actually a Sony CDX-A30. You can use almost any Sony CDX-Axx where xx is 15, 30, 55, whatever. At one point you could find compatible used Sony units on eBay for $30 or $40. That's if you are just looking for the Sony changer - NOT including the Audi adapter box under the factory CD changer. That is more difficult to find.
