    Interior removal help

    Hi,

Im going to remove the interior from my S2 and was wandering if there are any guides around for the rear seats and cards? Also the boot panels and trim will be coming out too so all information will be useful.

I have done a few searches but can only find things for the from which I know how to do but maybe I am just missing the right threads.

    Cheers
    Simon

Rear seats -fold down, undo the latching points with an 18mm cranked rin, push down on the cushion this goes through and they pop out. Seat base -two screws at front, and unhook and lifts out. Seat backs -unbolt and remove.

Rear door cards -screw on B pillar, and near the tweeters next to parcel shelf, and 2 on wheel arch, I think one on sill, then lift up and out.

The rest is pretty visible screws and common sense

Only stripping the interior as Im going down the track car route, pair of buckets and any excess weight I can find (apart form me) will be going. Plus I need to fund the repair to the front some how so every little helps.

I will be selling the interior but I'm afraid the front and rear seats and door cards are already spoken for. There will be all the trim up for sale as soon as it is removed and I have taken pic etc.

                Anything your after particularly?

                Cheers

Rear seats have a cover over the hinges, slide that up and there are screws behind.
I find it easier taking them off that way then doing hinges after.
Rear seat back holders -don't tr with an Allen key as they usually round off- use a deep spanner instead
