    RS2 Seat Guides/nylon runners

    Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone had a part number for an RS2 front seat runner guide/bush kit, mine are shot and my seat is rocking around!

I'll have a look in the week unless someone beats me to it.

      Looks like:

      glide piece outer 893881203A
      glide piece inner 893881203

Looks like they were used in a bunch of cars into the B5s, which is good since I need some.

Aside from changing the runners, a good trick to reduce play is to simply loosen the bolt that holds the seat fore/aft lock bush and rotate it a bit so it's on fresh bush. No need to renew and helps to remove the side to side slight clunk you can get after a while.

Thanks for the replies guys, I replaced the runner bushes and also the bushes that handle for fore/aft adjustment pivots from, I can't for the life of me find part number for the bush that the front rail runs against next to the handle. Any ideas?

I'll get the part number if you divulge the number of the cotton reel thing for the tilt mechanism.
I assume we are talking about a coupe

Got an old Cotton Reel here - only numbers on it are 397209 and HR1 below that.
Pictures enclosed. You can see the single wear mark - no need to replace, just loosen and rotate to a fresh bit of bush to remove play.

Everyone loves a fresh Bush. I have rotated mine but the ocd in me feels the need to replace them and etka is not clear.
