Anyone know where to get replacement Recaro bolsters?

Having bought and sold a set of S2 Recaros this past month I'm now thinking of upgrading my Golf MkIII seats. The idea is I'll change & retrim with S2 Recaro bolsters but with the preferable seat base height of the Golf Recaros.

I can find the seat base bolsters but not for the backrest side bolsters. Other than leaving a search on my eBay account I don't know where else to look.

My search on eBay did come across a seat bolster foam that looks right but the ad is unclear and as yet I have no reply to my message asking to clarify. Other options could be buying a really ratty looking seat of Audi or even Escort RS Turbo Recaros on the cheap to extract the bolsters - but that's pointless if the bolsters themselves have collapsed...

Anyone got any ideas?

Capital Seating are worth a call, or speak to a local trimmer.

Thanks Andy, that's where I will be getting the seat base bolsters from They do replacement backrest side bolsters for the Recaro Speed seat and another one - I think the ones found in D2 A8s - but not the S2/RS2/Ford Recaros. They informed me that they are NLA

Before I sold the S2 Recaros I asked my retrimmer if he could reverse engineer them to upgrade my existing seats But essentially he needs either new foam to build fabric around or useful fabric to repair the collapsed foam within.

I'm unlikely to find any Recaros in such a bad condition that they are at a reasonable price yet still with backrest bolsters in good condition

Give MJ interiors a try in bradford. He rebolstered my mk2 golf recaros. He's bloody good at it too.

Got a bolster foam on the way, from eBay. However seat upgrades will have to wait until I know how much money my house will suck from the bank account each month once I finally move in! I think a DIY service is required in December

Any more of the bolster foam available from where you got it from,as my cloth recaros need a bolster on one side of the drivers seat.

Just a Ford breaker so I doubt it. A good retrimmer should be able to rebuild your bolster, or is it beyond repair?
