We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links

Fascia is held on by clips, so use small screwdriver in the side and pop it off, or open ash tray and pull it carefully from the bottom, then 2 bolts are holding it in place Can't miss it.

I've not had my CC unit apart but with others in the past I have found bulbs working but dark/chroming over which would explain a dimmer illumination? I also like the ashtray bulb as it lights up the cubby underneath.
after having delighted in my new dash bulbs, i'm drawn to the lack of backlighting in some areas of the climate control unit. judging by this great photo, i take it that you took your unit to bits and replaced the bulbs in there?
