Bulbs for 1996 S6 Dash??

i used a mix of 2.0w and 1.2w bulbs. i guess that the bulbs for the backlighting in the climate control unit are different to the dash bulbs?

I've not had my CC unit apart but with others in the past I have found bulbs working but dark/chroming over which would explain a dimmer illumination? I also like the ashtray bulb as it lights up the cubby underneath.

Fascia is held on by clips, so use small screwdriver in the side and pop it off, or open ash tray and pull it carefully from the bottom, then 2 bolts are holding it in place Can't miss it.
