After being on the worlds worst and slowest website aka audi tradition I thought on my next extortionate purchase I would order some cloth to tidy up my recaros in the new year.
It is the drivers bolster that is getting a bit scruffy,so i need to know from anyone who has looked into it what fabric I need to sort the seats out?
Cheers

As for me it is impossible to find exactly the same aftermarket cloth or leather. If someone is interested in full coinsidence, good option is buying a second-hand rear bench in proper material from old audi.
I agree it is very hard to get the right colour. I think it won't match anyway if it's only one bolster you will replace?
Anyway, I had a S2 ABY with a small hole in the rear seat and had a spare rear seat so I took the seat out the S2 but it turned out to be a different colour. Both looked exactly the same untill compared next to each other. What I'm trying to say is that there seem te be different shades of the 'same' colour.
i guess with the age of the fabric it will be sun bleached even if in good condition which will lead to variations in the original colours. If it's any use ROb I have a couple of old seat covers which are in decent nick which you could butcher to re-do the seat bolsters. They are in the usual charcoal/black satin jacquard.
PM me, i've lost your contact details in a job and company phone change recently
As above the fabric will be well bleached by now, new fabric won't match. You'd need to get the whole seat trimmed to look nice IMHO, then you need to get all the rest done to match! If it helps, my Recaros till had the build sticker on the bottom. Colour - Anthrazit.
