    Roll Cage for S2

    Hi

Are there any bolt in roll cages in the market for S2 coupes? I have tried Safety Devices but they don't cater for it. I was looking for a 6 point cage

    Thanks

Safety devices do coupe Quattro ones, I did wonder if they would fit.

        Custom cages weld in

Custom Cages UK are a manufacturer & supplier of motorsport roll cages. Bespoke roll cage design, fabrication & fitting with shipping available world wide.

You can get the weld in kit and put feet on it, you will still want to weld plates/platforms into the car, its quicker to weld it in.

Not sure if you sorted a roll cage out but I have just found this on eBay:
            http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Audi-80-Ro.../172451507010?
I have no idea what the company is like however.

I am considering ordering one of the half cages in the link above.
Do people have any opinions on bolt it cages?
Im not going to compete but will be doing track days.

May I ask how much you paid?

I paid £250-£300 for a rear half cage welded in (Scott Mcminn Motorsport, Kilmarnock). I arrived with the car stripped out and removed the drivers seat. The fabricator had ordered the main hoop from customer cages, the rest was just straight notched to fit he had in stock. I had to paint the cage myself. My rear half picked up the rear strut towers rather than the wheel arches in the picture of the bolt in cage linked above.
