RS2 removal of RH rear trim.

Okay any tips on how to remove the spring clip #18?

I'm being cautious here, as I don't want twenty year old plastic trim to shatter, but right now I can't get past this, the trim panel is loose everywhere else, ie the seatbelts, the plastic clips into the pillar, can't reach in to push the panel off all the clips against the window.

I didn't have this problem on the battery side, as the the clip was no longer in place.

I did find this clip in the void under the battery tray however!

    Well I managed.

It was a case of penetrating oil, then a small screwdriver - there was little room to move, and patience getting the clip to move enough - a mm or so, so that I could get enough metal for a pair of mole grips to bite. Then I had the leverage to pull the clip free.
