    fitting porsche seats

i have just collected a pair of porsche tombstone seats, you gotta love ebay , and once i have them retrimmed (thinkin black with silver S2 logos ) i guess they have to be fitted.

just wondering about the easiest way of doing this:
    1. take the original seats out and cut the frames off
    2. buy a new set of frames for aftermarket seats (eg recaro)
    3. any other options

hope someone can help, as they are really comfy but of no use in the garage

I welded my own bases up, mine are the same seats as yours, i took the electrics off as they weigh a ton, just welded up a bases so it could go on to the original runners to have the back and forward movement.
