    diff lock lights

im sure my diff lock sign (adjacent hanbrake) used to be fully illuminated when the lights were turned on. Now, it is only the rear half of the rectangle sign that glows orange - am i wrong or do i need to replace a bulb? how on earth do i get access?

That's right matey. Remove it and pull it apart and the bulb needs to be de-soldered and a new one soldered (we all replace with an LED)

You can prize out the switch from the top without removing the console by carefully using a craft knife around the edge.

thanks. as your all dealing with a total novice when it comes to even minor motor tinkering, do i go to any electric/diy shop and ask for LED's?
