    Recaros RS2 headrest remove

I'm dismantling my Recaros (RS2) for a complete retrim.

Here the procedure with pictures for the headrest removal.
This video will give an idea of where to act credit to quattrostyle for the youtube link:

The Headrest it's blocked by two clips located between centre part and the top of the seat:

    closer view of the clip:

mind that the clip has a plastic black sleeve be careful not to drop the plastic part it behind/inside the centre cushion...
you can easily feel it with your fingers if you know it's there and then safely pull it out together with the pin.

    Hope this will help.

      Because i'm a fassy ba**ard....

These are a set that i aquired from a friend.
The seats had been "restored" and packed up on the side bolsters and centre seat and I could'nt stand to look at them....
The actual set that I have on the RS2 went trough the same process in the past.
They look ok but fatter far different from the original shape... if you understand what i mean.
I wanted to achieve the sharp and neat shape that they had originally.

So i took everything apart bought some nice top quality nappa leather (i leave where the tanning district in italy is) and off to the professional guy to redo them completely with all brand new original bolsters and cushions.

Your Recaros Cabriolet thread got me tempted thoug...
I might use the actual set that i have on the RS2 to fit the Cabriolet...
Strip them as well get some nice Nappa Navy Blu leather and put them on the Cabby!
Need to save money first thoug
