Unbelievably one of our branches was going to throw the seats in the bin!!!!
It was only because we we're talking about RS4 upgrades that the manager mentioned them. Needless to say I've been badgering him constantly until they arrived today.
They were taken out of a brand new RS4 back in 2000 as it had bucket seats fitted. They been in a storage unit since then.

Bit team bodge that way but it is one option. The RS4 seat rear mounts are 25mm wider than the S2 version. It is on an arm that could be shortened though.Originally posted by spink
Before attacking them though I am waiting for Recaro to come back to me about their A80/S2 seat fitting kits. The seats appear to Recaro Style's and they are attached to the subframe (fitting kit as recaro call it) with four torx bolts. Can't see why they can't be replaced with the A80/S2 version they sell.
I thought about using RS2 subframes but the seat fixings are different.
As I told the lads at work it doesn't matter HOW, they WILL be going in
I priced up what they would cost newfor Audi. Nearly £7000 for the pair!!!
