I'm hoping that someone of the members can help me with this
By backplate I mean the plate with the fishing net.
Mine are torned up in the lower corners, and I have a better looking backplate I want to use.

Remove two screws on lower edge. Then prise the fabric clips out of the recesses down the sides, then it just slides out.
