    RS2 black interior door triggers

I saw on Ebay a set of black RS2 inside door handles (triggers) that came and went. I didn't know they were black on that car. I think it would go well with my CQ's interior, since there is only black and wood so far, aside from the chrome triggers. On my 200q20v, I put a set of those brushed aluminum ones from VAGparts.

Where can I get a pair of RS2 door triggers? It would be great if someone was parting one out, but I won't hold my breath for that one.

I could also paint mine black, but I want to rule out the oem method first as I expect it is more durable and probably looks better.

    Thanks,
    Kenneth

I was the high bidder in those RS2 black door triggers and then all of a sudden the auction was canceled??? I didn't know they could do that on E-Bay. I have seen them on e-bay a couple of times.

You can't get them from Audi anymore as they supersede to the chrome ones. I put them on my old S2 Avant but could only get hold of two so I ended up painting two for the rear doors. They looked OK painted & were durable enough with a coat of lacquer.
      Now RS2'less

Chris, there was a "buy it now" price of 40 quid, so somebody's obviously paid it,
        and it's gone!!!

            Hey,

I have those original RS2 black interior door triggers too, but they are only black painted, so it will be cheaper when you paint then.

Rub down the original ones and have them poweder coated gloss black (or matt if you prefer) the finish will be very hard wearing...
