Yeah, but that horrible hairy carpet eeugghh! A nice black version of your microfibre would look much better. This is probably the only part of my interior that I am not completely happy with....

A BTDT would be good on this!!

        BTDT??? What does this mean?

        Maybe you need a "how-to"

I love that ugly hairy carpet becouse the dust gets so deep you cant get it out neither with the most powerful of the vacum cleaners...

Ok. First of all take that part of the console out of the car. The hairy carpet isnt even glued to the plastic console, just stuck inside. Turn the console upside down, and you will see a piece of carpet hanging from that hole. Just pull it slowly and it goes right out. Take a piece thin, single layer cardboard. Put the ugly hairy carpet on the cardboard and draw its siluette (dont cut the silhuette out). Do the same on the new cloth (or whatever you will use). Glue the new shaped cloth to the cardboard and wait till the glue dryes. Now cut the cardboard to match the silhuette of the cloth, and... yes... right guess... insert it in the console. Dont forget to post pics!

Yes, and "UltraSuede" is a less durable alternative offered by the same manufacturer. UltraSuede is less suited to automotive interiors. Alcantara is durable, cleanable, and expensive.

I wonder how to pronounce it. Is it "Al Can Tarah" or "Al Canter Ah"? I can't tell from reading it on the internet.
