Diff Lock panel illumination

I have removed the diff lock panel and found that the bulbs are not only different to the push type in the heater/aux panels etc, but also soldered in.

Before trying to solder in the push type bulbs, I thought I would check whether anyone knows where to source the original type and what Wattage they are rated at?

P.S. Having now changed all the dash and aux gauge bulbs, I am just left with the Diff lock and the stereo. The removeable front panel doesn't light up in the S2, but plugged into an identical stereo it does. Any ideas?

Hi mate, go to Maplins and get 3 of these bulbs, code number: PG77J, link here

I'd replaced all three, as the new one will be brighter than the others.

Easy enough if you are a dab hand with a soldering iron
