Getting datalogging working

When RealTerm can't open the port something is blocking the com port.
When all other apps are closed and only RealTerm is open - reconnect the KKL.
Possible that the KKl cable version has an impact - I only use the cheap FTDI cables.

Done a test with VCDS Lite, when I hit test button, I get sucess message, but can't connect with ECU (like I can with rosstech).

Acki can you send me the drivers that you are using (for USB and COM)? Thanks!

Then you need different cable probably. Your rosstech is genuine or china ****?

I bought it in Portugal several years ago as genuine, but maybe its china... I really dont know. It works ok with vcds from rosstech page, so I never mind.

Just losted so much time with those cables, I need to buy another one and move on. Do you know some cable that I can buy that works?

Update.

Just bought a **** 409.1 cable for 5€, connected it to PC and car, opened winlog and it worked immediately!

So much time spent with this three cables... Sorry for taking your time with this silly problem!
