Yes tremendous... but ist not only flat shifting and ignition cut, its also ignition retard. And its way more effective without bang bang...

Sorry we are going O/T! Do you remember what approx cut %? Is it just a case of ignition retard with clutch switch and then calibrating the cut % to get enough torque to keep the rpm above X-rpm?
Do you need to trim fuel too?

You have to play with the values because It all depends on given engine & turbo and power curve. No clutch switch. All done via ALS. Configuration of ALS Funktion for "Shift Cut" is very tricky and did not work with the same parameter on 2 different cars. You have to map the retard curve step by step. ignition cut is max 50%. Throttle angle depents on rev limit (in this case 10.000rpm)

but be careful using this... If ALS is active and you just lift your food from pedal after full throttle, the car will accelerate brutal up to 10 seconds (depending on time constant). So always have a emergency switch for throttle kicker solenoid. You can hear this sound on the end of the video

Well I don't plan to use ALS (only a road/track car) so I will use a min TPS % to activate shiftcut/retard, and also plan to use a clutch switch since I no longer use cruise control, there is a nice OEM switch ready to go
