    My radio beeps at me??

I have an RS2 with a standard fitted Audi radio/casette player.
I tune in to Radio 1 or whatever but after about a minute, it starts beeping at me starting off quiet and then going louder and louder. I can retune the radio and it goes off but after about a minute, it starts again!
This only happens if we are listening to the Radio, no probs if we use a cassette!

    Any ideas?

It does it whatever channel it's tuned into.
And the music will go off and then the intermittent beeps (every 2 seconds approx which get louder and louder) start up!

sounds like your traffic info is switched on . in other words its automaticly switching over to traffic info like its supposed to. you need to find the option or the button to switch it of then it will be okay. thats if its got traffic info.

I'll have a check! I've got the booklet that came with the car, shame the whole lot's in German!

I knew I'd have been better off taking German instead of French, it's not like I'm ever going to want to know anything about 2CV's is it!!!

I had this too a while back and sorted it out. I cannot remember exactly, but I think it was the 'DX' button. Simply a case of pressing it once to enable/disable. Whatever it was, it was blindingly simple and embarresingly it took me almost a week to figure it out. My car is in for service at the moment, so I'll take a look on Wednesday evening when I get it back.
