Hi Guys.
Since im a IT boffin, since day 1 ive been listening to MP3's and im still running on a very old mp3 player in my car.
However, it cannot play every mp3, and it is limited to the bit rate of the mp3.
this isnt a problem if you rip the mp3's yourself and you can choose the bit rate to rip @ etc.. but if you download them, then its too much hassle to try and convert each mp3 to the chosen type.
Its time i get a mp3 player that will play every type of mp3's.
I saw this :
http://www.justkenwood.co.uk/stock01/offer_1.asp
and it opened my eyes.
However, this headunit might have same problem, where mps with very high bitrate will play in a corrupt manner which sounds like a crying baby in my ears.
Anyone any experience with mp3 players? the link above, can i plug in my current UBS HD i got? can i plug a 200gb one in there? i tried to read as much as possible about it but it dosnt state what mp3's or what hard disks are supported (only mentions it supports ipods and sony etc..)
Anyone got a good one they are very happy with or a different solution ?
I seen a good one that allows you to plug in a usb pen and a SD card.. but its made by ripspeed lol..
